A yearlong study from the UK shows that vaccinated people infected with the COVID-19 delta variant are just as likely to spread the disease as the unvaccinated. They are less likely to become infected from a member of the same household (25% for vaccinated and 38% for unvaccinated) and are much less likely to develop severe disease. Those who are vaccinated and infected need to take precautions not to infect those around them.
